example, the sap used in the bitter crystals product is a strong

digs a shallow circular pit, about three feet across, near the plant
to be harvested. He or she lays a tarp over the pit, and the
harvested leaves are placed in a circle, cut-end inward, so that the
sap flows from the leaves into the center of the tarp. This is then
cooked to form the crystals. This gives you the strongest and purest
