There is no such thing as Kanhen Water. Kangen in the Japanese language means "return to origin". The Enagic® company use kangen as a marketing term. Kangen water is simply another name for ionized alkaline water. The claim that Kangen water is different than alkaline, ionized water is not true. All alkaline water ionizers including the Enagic® machine use the same technology and create the same kind of alkaline and acidic water. Some Enagic® representatives define Kangen water as showing a negative oxidation reduction potential (ORP) in the range of -200mV to -450mV, while typical Ionized Alkaline Water shows anywhere between +100mV and -100mV, depending on the quality of the machine.
