About Us... and How We Got Started!

Hello, I am Wanda Ince, founder of Serenity Senior Care—a home health care agency for seniors and older adults.

Please indulge me for the next few minutes while I share my story with you and reveal the circumstances that moved me to start this company.

I was born in Barbados, West Indies, and migrated to the United States in 1971. After graduating High School in Brooklyn, New York, I attended Long Island University to study Business Management.

Until a few years ago, I was employed as an Operations Manager with JPMorgan Chase Bank. My position was eliminated as part of a reorganization following a merger. As a manager I established an outstanding record of accomplishments and was able to motivate and mentor my staff to surpass established goals and objectives.
